2-7 基督教文化如何帶來正面及負面的教學氛圍?

Abstract:
This presentation is for teachers who have high interests in starting a Christian school
with students from non-Christian backgrounds and how to find the balance to implement faith
into our teaching.
Summary:
Statistics show the Christian populations is low among Asian countries. This
presentation will start off with religious background in Taiwan and how it is affecting the
society. Through the presenter’s personal experience, the audience will have a better picture
of the cultural conflicts, emotions, and struggles of being the first Christian in the family. The
presenter will then share the experience of being a Christian educator herself in a Christian
international school in Taiwan with 80% of students coming from non-Christian families. The
audience will have a glimpse of how to approach students properly without stressing them out
but building a positive student-teacher relationship. Last and most importantly, the speaker
will share how she blends in the gospel and helps students know more about Christianity. The
session will end with an interactive Q&A, share ideas and comments.
