Our work as Christian educators is much more profound than preparing our students for
university and career--although those things are essential. To have a spiritually transformative
impact we must recognize that our ministry to and education of our students takes place in the
larger context of a cosmic and personal life and death battle against evil from within and
without. How are we to respond as Christian educators? Is the battle worth it?
