vastly different from what they have alleged, and to disprove what they seek to make
it prove.
The supercilious charge that we are looking for antichrist rather than Christ can be
met with ―Thus saith the Lord.‖ If the Word says Antichrist must appear first and that
he is himself a sign of the near advent of Christ, we must accept it. But our hope, our
hope, our joyful anticipation is in ―The appearing of the glory of our Great God and
Savior Jesus Christ‖ even though like Paul and Peter we see an intervening valley of
testing and tribulation.
May God keep us faithful even unto death, that we may receive His crown of life!
