The casuists find themselves in a hopeless box in the light of such a scripture, so
with brazen impudence they attempt to evade truth by splitting the first resurrection
into two or three ―sections,‖ and place one ―section‖ before and one ―section‖ after
the reign of Antichrist! To what extent of presumption will men allow themselves to

be led by the ―father of lies‖ to invalidate truth and try to establish a false theory! The
scripture knows only one First Resurrection. There is not the remotest inkling that the
First Resurrection is other than one great event at one time. When the Spirit of God
wants to teach another resurrection in distinction to the First Resurrection of the just,

He is quite able to make it plain, and to show that there is another resurrection after
the thousand years of the wicked and those who die in the thousand years. But to
attempt to make more than one event out of the First Resurrection is sheer perversion.
