Shaoqi Tsai raised a question that must be considered by anyone desiring to spread the Gospel:
Have I dealt with my own sins? Do I continually urge fellow believers to leave their sin? The grace
to repent and believe comes is no “cheap grace.” The hymn writer, John Newton, calls it “Amazing
grace . . . that saved a wretch like me!” and goes on to say, “Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,
and grace my fears relieved; how precious did that grace appear the hour I first believed!” Such
precious grace that saves us also makes us instruments for the Lord to use in the lives of others.
