(ii) A donation is not acceptable if there are two or more copies
of the same item already present in the library collection.
(iii) The library accepts only books which have been published
within the past five years.
(iv) The library accepts only computer books which have been
published within the past two years.
(vi) Donation of books is unacceptable if they are damaged,
marked, or noted with writing.
(vii)Textbooks, comics, and pornographic books are
unacceptable.
(vii)The Library accepts only periodicals which have been
published within the past year and which are nonexistent in
the library’s collection.

(5) The Librarian is entitled to discard or transfer to other libraries
any unacceptable books or periodicals.

(6) Under the policy to standardize the shelves, the library declines
requests from a donor to display the donated books at the
specific shelves.

(7) Donors may donate cash with the request to purchase specified
books which shall be within the scope of the library collection.
