donors with a list of accepted titles.
(4) Scope of Acceptable Donations:
(i) The Library primarily accepts books related to Philosophy,
Psychology, Sociology, and Christianity, particularly those
relevant to the College’s curriculum.
(ii) Donations of items already held in duplicate (two or more
copies) within the Library’s collection will not be accepted.
(iii) Books must have been published within the past five years
to be eligible for donation.
(iv) Computer-related books must have been published within
the past two years.
(iv) Books that are damaged, marked, annotated, or otherwise
not in good condition will not be accepted.
(v) The Library does not accept textbooks, comic books, or any
materials of a pornographic nature.
(vii) Periodicals will only be accepted if they have been
published within the past year and are not already included
in the Library’s holdings.
(5) The Librarian reserves the right to discard or transfer any
donated materials that do not meet the Library’s collection
criteria.
(6) In accordance with the Library’s shelving standardization policy,
requests to display donated books in specific locations will not
be accommodated.
(7) Donors may contribute funds to support the purchase of specific
titles, provided that the selected materials fall within the scope
of the Library’s collection development guidelines.
