13. Book Recommendations
(1) Student Recommendations:
Before recommending any books, please search the Library’s
WebPAC system to ensure the book is not in the collection.
(2) Faculty Recommendations:
In principle, book recommendations should be limited to those
relevant to general education and major-specific courses.
Departments or academic units are encouraged to submit book
recommendations collectively, so the Library may consider bulk
purchases. Please complete the Book Recommendation List form
and have it stamped with the Department Chairman before
submitting it to the Library.
14. Book Donations
Descriptions:
The Library of Christ’s College Taipei cordially welcomes book
donations from individuals and organizations. In light of constraints
related to space and staffing, prospective donors are kindly
requested to consult with the Librarian prior to making any
contributions. Priority is given to newly published works and
donations designated for specific academic or curricular purposes.
The Library deeply appreciates the generosity of its donors, whose
contributions significantly enhance the quality and currency of the
Library’s collections, thereby enriching the academic resources
available to our readers.
Donors are kindly advised to take note of the following guidelines:
(1) Please submit a list of the proposed donation items to the Library
in advance, so that we may verify whether the titles are already a
part of the existing collection.
(2) The Library reserves the right to review and select donated
materials in accordance with its collection development policy.
(3) After conducting a system check, the Librarian will provide
