truth in him…he is a liar and the father of it.” Ruthless disregard if human life has
characterized it whenever it has gotten the upper hand, and lies and perversions are
the stock-in-trade of its myriad agents in every country and of its bellowing mad-dogs
in the United Nations. It is unfortunate that the United Nations should have to provide
a sounding board for the rasping Russians and their stooges to vent their hatred and
venom upon the Free Nations. Their very presence makes the United Nations the
disunited nations. Dr. Tsiang Ting-Fu is right in advocating their ejection from that
international body.
When we contemplate the passing of the monster of iniquity, Josef Stalin, we are
glad that we believe in the God revealed in the Bible, a God of justice who says
“vengeance is mine, I will repay”. The man whose crimes against humanity and
whose genius for organized wickedness have exceeded the combined outrages of a
Pharaoh of the Oppression, the Herods, Nero, Henry the Eighth, Chou Wang and
Chieh Wang of Chinese history and many others has now had to stand before the King
of Kings. This King he cannot bluff, intimidate or liquidate, and from this King he has
received his sentence of eternal punishment!
While Vishinsky, Mao Tse-Tung and Malenkov, his companions in crime, eulogize
him and the United Nations stands for a minute in silent respect to honor the demise
of the big butcher, again we hail Dr. Tsiang Ting-Fu and the Free China delegation for
deliberately absenting themselves from the ceremony of respect to humanity’s
supreme disgrace!
We wonder if part of the punishment Stalin receives in the place of torment to
which he has gone is not a continuous playback of the Divine recording of the
countless cries of sorrow, fear, agony and desperation which he has caused to so many
millions in dungeons, concentration camps, the icy wastes of Siberia, torture
chambers and elsewhere?!
What a contrast in all this to the Christ Who came to “Preach good tidings unto the
meek, to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the
opening of the prisons to them that are bound, to proclaim the time of Jehovah’s
favor…” Through His servants to the ends of the earth He has preached salvation and
love, established orphanages, schools and brought relief to the starving. Can anyone
say there is anything in common between Christianity and Communism?
