陸、結論與建議 Conclusions and Recommendations

一、 圖書館館藏 Library Collection

本館館藏主要以配合學校發展計劃及支援各單位教學、研究之專業圖書資料為主，因此凡

英語文學、基督教、社會科學及各主修 (英語與文學、傳播、音樂等)相關之中英文專業書
籍為主要蒐藏範圍；其他相關學科領域資料，為次要蒐藏範圍。本校為基督教博雅學院，
強調全人教育，並以基督教觀點進行人文研究與教學，因此以相關主題之圖書資料為收藏
範圍。蒐藏的資料類型大致分為圖書、期刊、視聽資料、電子書、電子期刊及電子資源，

並以美國國會分類法將各類型資料做有系統的整理。目前圖書館館藏包含圖書127,572冊，
非書 6,067 件，現行期刊 166 種，報紙 12 種，線上資料庫 15 種。

The collection of books and information in the library provides support for both school and

curriculum’s development, like various teaching units and research writing. Therefore, any
English or Chinese book that is related to English Literature, Christianity, Social Sciences and
other majors (English, Mass Communication, and Music) are within the main collection scope.
Other books that belong to relevant subject areas are within the secondary collection scope.

Since the school is a Christian Liberal Arts College of which places its main emphasis on
Holistic Education and Christianity; related books and materials are the main collection scope of
the library.

The current library collection includes more than 127,572 books; 6,067 audiovisual materials,
166 periodicals; 12 newspapers; 15 online databases. Library’s holdings are organized
systematically according to the Library of Congress Classification System.
